Rabbi Yitzchok Moully’s huge (76 ft x 20+ ft) mural, #ShareYourLight, is now up at 569 Myrtle Ave, Brooklyn, NY (the corner of Myrtle and Classon). Everyone is invited to visit the mural and share your light: there is a basket of bright markers for everyone to come and share a positive message on the wall.
They held a lighting and party at the mural on the fourth night, Sunday at 6pm. (See video of the event here and here.)
Yitzchok partnered with Hadas Gallery + Synagogue and Simcha Weinstein. The menorah is made up of diverse members of the Hadas community each holding a candle and together they create the full Menorah.
In Yitzchok’s words, “One of the messages of Chanukah is that we need to share our light with the world, It’s not enough keeping a light inside, we need to get it out to the world. Each of us has a unique light, and each of us need to share.”
Yitzchok’s mural was featured on CrownHeights.info, along with a ton of process photos.
